Why is SM2004 slower?

I have a new computer and upgraded to SM2004. Why is my category list in Element Parameters opening so slowly (in SM2002 it was instantaneous)

SuperMemo has not changed here. Probably you have a different setting in your computer. See: Desktop : Properties : Appearance : Effects : Transition effects for menus and tooltips (it should be unchecked)
