Question
john asked: I'm looking at a possible 1-year deployment to Afghanistan, and I'd like to take SuperMemo with me. I can't load any programs onto a military computer, but I could put SM on a thumb-drive, which seems to work. Has anyone had any experience with this? If I copy my entire SM folder onto a thumbdrive will everything transfer, including history data, etc.? Anything to be careful of? John
Answer
If the drive is reliable, you should not experience any problems when using SuperMemo.
If you use SuperMemo 19 it would make most sense to register it on the USB drive and then copy it to target computers (if you need to, e.g. for speed's sake)
