Some formulas at Wikipedia display as crosses
Problem
Some formulas in math at Wikipedia display as black crosses. Pictures show ok, but formulas are invisible.
Suggestion
This could be due to svg picture rendering that requires a more up-to-date compatibility mode. You can experiment with registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
"sm19.exe"=dword:00002710;
Warning! Do not use "sm19.exe"=dword:00002AF8; (Edge mode) as this will disable editing in SuperMemo
The values: 00002AF0 (IE11), 0000271E (IE10), 00002710 (IE9).
Default
SuperMemo does not set the "sm19.exe" key. If the change to compatibility mode makes things worse (e.g. ugly formatting, editing problems, etc.), the only way to get back to the default is to delete the key (setting it to 0 will default to Internet Explorer 7 mode, which could make SuperMemo pretty hard to use).
