Quickly Adding Sounds to SuperMemo
Adding Sounds to SuperMemo
In the following tutorial, you need to have your sound file ready on your hard disk before you can use Import file. In the presented example, the file is template.wav and contains the pronunciation of the word template. Note that the choices made in the tutorial will result in deleting that file after importing it to SuperMemo.

If you happen to use Advanced English, you can also import pronunciation sounds from the sound registry (by choosing Insert), however, this topic is not covered in this video.
Where do I find the sound files in SuperMemo?
SuperMemo on its own does not include any sound files (unless you got SuperMemo collections that carry sound). You can get your files from any source. For example, you can download them from the Internet. You can for example Google for mp3 or wav or "download music", or "download pronunciation", etc. This topic goes beyond SuperMemo. You need to learn how to get your files on your own. To download a file using a link use Save Target As in Internet Explorer (see also: http://www.spirituality.com/ebiblelesson/media_faq.jhtml#download_mp3).
Important: Do not download directly to elements folder. SuperMemo will remove such files at the first cleanup. Download on your hard disk and use the instructions from the videodemo. SuperMemo will place the file in the right place for you.
