Problems with import from SuperMemo 7

SuperMemo 2004 may display "Cannot proceed with Import. Range check error" when importing from SuperMemo 7.

This is a documented bug in SuperMemo 2004.

Currently the simplest workaround is:

  1. download SuperMemo 98 freeware
  2. import your SuperMemo 7 collection to SuperMemo 98
  3. open that collection in SuperMemo 2004

Important!!! SuperMemo 2006 for Windows does not support import from SuperMemo 7. To import your old collections to SuperMemo 2006, you will need to first import then to SuperMemo 98 freeware. Only then you can open these collections in SuperMemo 2006.
