Pending queue is a queue of elements that are waiting to be memorized. Option Remember removes the current element from the pending queue while Forget adds a memorized element back to the end of the pending queue. Pending queue determines the order of learning new elements. You can make the entire collection pending, by choosing File : Tools : Reset collection. You can also make a subset of elements pending by using options of the browser menu.

Pending queue used to play an important role in SuperMemo by lining up elements in learning. Since the arrival of the priority queue, it is recommended to keep all the elements in the learning process. Pending queue is now used only for collections you receive from external sources (e.g. Advanced English).
