Incremental video is a technique that makes it possible to learn from thousands of video sources without getting lost. Videos are prioritized and can be reviewed in small portions depending on interests, priority and available time. Incremental video is to video as incremental reading is to learning from electronic texts.

In SuperMemo 14 (aka SuperMemo 2008) and in SuperMemo 15, incremental video is built around YouTube. SuperMemo 16 and later, additionally support incremental video on local video files (e.g. MP4 videos on the user's hard disk). You may need SuperMemo 17.3 to use the newest YouTube API (in some older SuperMemos, you may need to download newer version of yt.htm).
