Subject: High DPI screens = supermemo meltdown
Question:
Hello! I'm using Supermemo 17 on my 13" 2560x1440 screen. Most programd scale these days and make use of all those pixels. Supermemo does not for me. So i turned of the scaling by checking Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings. It said in: What's new in Supermemo 17, that the scaling problem was fixed but it is not for me. What do I do?

I also have this problem in SM17. When i disable high DPI Supermemo becomes unusable. The icons get really small and statistics window becomes cramped.

Answer:
If you speak of this text 800x600 screen resolution may no longer suffice. All SuperMemo dialogs have been scaled up to improve handling of small fonts in Windows 10. This goes counter to some suggestions of users who use SuperMemo on tablets or lower resolution screens. If you use a tablet, be sure you test the new version before you make a committing step, it is a warning, not a bug fix! It does not imply a solution to high DPI. It only says that most of windows and fields are larger to display better in Windows 10. In some cases, it is good for high resolutions, but not an ultimate solution.
You can scale up statistics window by changing Tools : Option : Fonts : Interface font
