HTML component is a component that makes it possible to display formatted text. It can be used to format texts using HTML codes.

HTML component is the default text component in newer versions of SuperMemo. Previously, the plain text component was used by default. Today, this means that most text components are HTML components unless you specifically change the template, add plain text components, etc.

HTML editing can be done with the component menu options, with icons on the Edit tab (formerly Format). To edit directly the HTML source, you can open the source code with Ctrl+Shift+F6. It is also possible to associate your favorite HTML editor and edit with File : Edit file.
