Problem
I imported two oil price articles from Wikipedia:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_oil_market_chronology_from_2003
I then imported a picture showing the price of oil overtime (since 1987). The same picture is used in both articles. However, when I tried to illustrate the second article with the same picture, SuperMemo created a duplicate. This means that I now have stored the same picture twice in the registry.
The bug might be related to the fact that before importing the picture again, I changed the thumb to the full image.

When you replace thumbs, you must use "Globally" (if you choose "Locally", image references will be lost and a duplicate of the image will be imported).
The problem comes from the fact that the pictures use different thumbs: 300px and 350px.
The URLs look identical but they differ at image size part:
- http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0f/Brent_Spot_monthly.svg/350px-Brent_Spot_monthly.svg.png
It is true though that both thumbs lead to the same image: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0f/Brent_Spot_monthly.svg
SuperMemo should not only check the thumb URLs in comparisons but the full image URL as well.
