Collection merge is incomplete

When using Merge collection or Transfer, not all aspects of the collection are transferred.

In particular:

NOT REMEDIABLE

  • some script behaviors are layout dependent and will malfunction in the new collection's layout
  • default background picture is ignored
  • default font is ignored
  • some options from earlier SuperMemos are not supported and cross-version transfers will show odd behaviors

REMEDIABLE (might be fixed future SuperMemos)

  • local pictures embedded in HTML (use remote pictures or image components)
  • some HTML references are not recalculated and links can be lost
  • some script objects are not transferred and cannot be used (e.g. pictures referenced by scripts)
  • translations are not transferred
  • templates are not transferred
  • style sheets are not transferred
