Question

I have a mac computer running the Mac OS X program and I just bought a Treo 700w with windows instead of Palm software. Can these be used together and if so, which supermemo program do I need to purchase.

Answer

Unfortunately, currently there is no SuperMemo that run on Mac OS X (see: http://www.supermemo.com/english/which.htm#11648-6931). As for Windows Mobile, SuperMemo 4.0 for Pocket PC (see: http://www.ceti.pl/~tss/smce/) is a recommended choice.

You can always run Supermemo under VirtualBox.

VirtualBox Download Page

You could install a stripped-down version of Windows XP (search around for "Tiny XP" and similar keywords) and run SuperMemo from there. Supermemo is light enough, you shouldn't notice any performance issues, especially if you're using a modern computer. Heck, I've run Supermemo on a run-down Lenovo X41 with a CompactFlash Card for Hard Disk! Also, as far as I know, you can install Windows in recent, Intel-based Macs. You could go for a dual-boot route.
